Why this kit is built this way
System objective: see who comes to the cowshed, the store or the pump at night, on a farm with no mains power at the camera and no internet line. Livestock theft is common enough that the government ordered ear tags for cattle, sheep and goats in September 2026, and avocado growers in Murang'a report gangs outnumbering the watchmen they hire.
Why this configuration
- Each pole stands on its own. The camera streams over its own 4G SIM and runs from its own solar supply, so nothing has to be trenched back to the house.
- It answers back. When someone crosses a line you set, the camera switches on its white light and plays an audible warning, then sends an alert to your phone.
- It follows movement. The camera pans and tilts, so one pole can watch a boma, a zero-grazing unit or the approach to a store.

Where the cameras go
- The boma, cowshed or poultry house door
- The feed or produce store, including an avocado collection shed

A camera cannot watch a whole orchard. It watches the way in and the way out.
Power and signal are checked before you buy. Each camera runs from its own solar supply, so no mains is needed at the pole. Each camera takes its own SIM, and Safaricom and Airtel both run 4G on band 20, which this camera supports; we test the signal at every pole position on the survey and confirm the Kenyan version of the camera on your quote. Recording goes to the card in the camera and uses no data. Alerts and live view use the data bundle on the SIM.

- VIGI S345-4G fixed 4G camera for a solar pump or water tank, with its own SP6030
- Tapo C410 KIT solar camera at the farmhouse, where the home Wi-Fi reaches
- A steel pole for each camera, mounted high enough that the panel and camera cannot be reached
