What this is for
Thirty-two channels across four drive bays, with 320 Mbps of incoming bandwidth and independent HDMI and VGA outputs, so staff can watch a live wall on one screen while running playback on the other.
Two numbers decide whether this fits your job. Storage tops out at 10TB per bay, so 40TB in total whatever drives you fit. And while it records thirty-two channels, it decodes only four at 8MP, eight at 4MP or sixteen at 1080p, so a wall of thirty-two 4K cameras will not display live at full resolution.
It also has no built-in PoE, so every camera needs a separate PoE switch. On a thirty-two camera job that is a substantial line item and should be quoted from the start rather than discovered later.
