CombiProtect Jeweller: one detector watching the door swing and the window shatter

Two detection methods in a single unit built for rooms where mounting two separate sensors doesn't make sense: a PIR sensor for motion, and an electret microphone for glass break, sharing the same enclosure, battery, and wireless link. The motion side runs Ajax's SmartDetect algorithm with temperature compensation to prevent false alarms, and stays pet-immune up to 20 kg and 50 cm tall. The glass-break side uses the DualTone two-factor verification method, confirming both the low-frequency thud of impact and the high-frequency ring of shattering glass before it calls an alarm, filtering out a barking dog or a passing truck.

Motion detection reaches up to 12 m across an 88.5° horizontal field at the recommended 2.4 m mounting height; glass-break detection reaches up to 9 m across a full 180°, so one unit mounted correctly can cover a room's motion path and its windows at once. The pre-installed CR123A battery runs up to 5 years, with a low-battery warning sent well ahead of time.

Wireless range reaches up to 1,200 m to the hub in open space over encrypted, two-way Jeweller radio with device authentication against spoofing. Installation is SmartBracket-based, no enclosure to open, paired by QR code, and fully reconfigurable afterward through the app.
