FireProtect Jeweller: sounds the alarm on its own, hub or no hub

A wireless smoke and heat detector that will raise a local fire alarm through its own built-in siren even if it has not been added to a hub at all. It watches two things at once, a photoelectric smoke chamber, and a thermistor tuned to catch a sharp temperature spike even before visible smoke does.

Press the test button and the detector simulates smoke electronically to check the chamber; when dust builds up, it tells you it needs cleaning through the app rather than waiting for you to notice a false-alarm pattern. It ships ready to mount: battery pre-installed, no enclosure to open, connected to the hub with one tap in the app, and mounted on the SmartBracket panel in minutes.

Interconnected alarm, where one detector triggering sounds every fire detector in the building, is a hub setting, so it needs the detectors paired to a hub to work. Standalone, each unit sounds only for itself. Note also that Ajax's current fire line is FireProtect 2; this is the earlier generation and remains supported.
