SpaceControl Jeweller: arm, disarm, or call for help without touching your phone

A four-button key fob small enough for a pocket or a key ring (65x37x10 mm, 13 g), built for the moment a phone isn't the fastest option. Arm and Disarm cover the basics; Night Mode arms perimeter devices only, so you can move through the house at night without tripping interior motion sensors; Panic sends an alarm to both the monitoring company and system users, no phone unlock required. Every button press is confirmed by an LED, and a double or long press can be required to prevent accidental activation in a pocket or bag.

It runs on a single pre-installed CR2032 battery rated for up to 5 years at one arm and disarm cycle per day, with a low-battery warning sent in advance. Communication reaches up to 1,300 m to the hub in open space over encrypted, two-way Jeweller radio with device authentication against spoofing. Pairing is a QR-code scan in the Ajax app, with remote configuration afterward.

It pairs to the Ajax hub line and to range extenders. If you are running the original Hub or Hub Plus, note that ReX 2 will not work with those panels, so plan the extender to match.
