What this is for
Sixteen PoE+ ports sharing a 90 watt PoE budget, which averages about 5.6 watts per camera if you fill every port. That covers sixteen low-draw infrared cameras, but not sixteen full colour models: twelve VIGI C240 domes at up to 6 watts each already use 72 watts. For higher-draw cameras, power some of them from a separate PoE switch.
Two SATA drive bays take up to 10TB each, 20TB in total. How many days of recording that holds depends on camera count, resolution, bitrate and recording mode, so we calculate retention for your site rather than quoting a headline figure.
