HomeSiren Jeweller: indoors, and doing more than just making noise

The indoor counterpart to StreetSiren: a volume with three levels, 80, 93 and 100 dB measured 1 m away, duration from 3 seconds to 3 minutes, or up to 15 minutes on current firmware, responding to a tamper or security alarm in under a second. Beyond the alarm itself, its LED doubles as a status indicator, showing the system armed or counting down an entry or exit delay, genuinely useful for anyone controlling the system from a keypad or key fob rather than a phone screen.

The Chime feature turns it into a door announcement: the siren beeps one to four times whenever an opening detector trips while the system is disarmed, the same trick retail stores use to know when someone's walked in. An external LED connector lets you add a second indicator elsewhere in the room, and the whole unit installs and swaps batteries without opening the enclosure.
