Ajax StarterKit: the four devices that make a security system a security system

A complete starting point rather than a single sensor: the Hub control panel, a wireless motion detector, a wireless opening detector, and a key fob with a panic button, sold together and built to work as a system from the first setup. The motion and opening detectors cover the two most common intrusion paths, someone walking into a room, or a door or window being opened, and the hub sends the alarm to both your phone and the Central Monitoring Station over cellular and Ethernet, so a cut phone line doesn't leave you unprotected.

Installation takes about 30 minutes: detectors are paired and configured in the mobile app, then mounted on the included SmartBracket panels, no separate wiring, no electrician required. The kit isn't a ceiling, either: it scales up to 100 connected devices and 50 users, with room to add fire detectors, flood detectors, automation relays and IP cameras as the property's needs grow.

One thing to know before you buy: the panel in this kit is the original Hub, which does not support MotionCam photo verification. If you want a photo of what triggered the alarm, StarterKit Cam is the version to look at.
