StreetSiren Jeweller: loud enough to end the burglary before it starts

An outdoor-rated siren built to be the visible, audible deterrent: alarm volume is set to one of three levels, 85 dB, 100 dB or 113 dB measured 1 m from the siren, loud enough to scare off an intruder and get a neighbour's attention, with the alarm duration configurable from 3 seconds up to 3 minutes, or up to 15 minutes on current firmware, in 3-second steps. A built-in accelerometer detects any attempt to turn the enclosure or pry it off the wall, on top of the standard tamper alarm.

Communication runs on two protocols: Jeweller carries alarms and events at up to 1,500 m in open space, and Wings handles photo transfer and firmware updates over a shorter range. Encryption and regular polling mean a jamming attempt or dropped connection gets flagged rather than ignored. It runs up to 5 years on 4 pre-installed CR123A batteries, or can take an external 6 to 20 V supply where continuous power is preferred. The IP54-rated enclosure handles outdoor conditions from −25°C to +60°C.
