What this is for
Eight PoE++ ports delivering up to 90 watts each under 802.3bt Type 4, sixteen PoE+ ports alongside them, and a 500 watt total budget. Those 90 watt ports are what let you drive heated PTZ domes and high draw pan and tilt units that an ordinary PoE+ switch cannot power at all.
Four 10G SFP+ slots handle the uplink, which stops the aggregate of dozens of 4K streams bottlenecking on a gigabit link back to the recorder. A core backbone switch for enterprise buildings and large camera counts.
Compatibility
Required where PTZ cameras draw more than standard PoE+ can supply. The 10G SFP+ uplinks handle aggregated 4K streams into an NVR or server room.
