What this is for
3840 x 2160 in full colour, four times the pixels of 1080p and enough to read a number plate at the far end of a yard rather than guess at it. An F1.6 aperture holds colour down to 0.005 lux, and when there is no light at all, two white LEDs and two infrared LEDs reach 30 metres. Analytics classify humans and vehicles separately from moving branches, and the camera answers an intrusion itself with an audible warning and a flashing white light instead of only pushing a notification to your phone.
IP67 rated for exterior walls, gates and perimeter runs, with a microSD slot taking up to 512GB so recording survives a network cut. Draws up to 11.5 watts over PoE, so budget carefully on a full site: twelve of these will fill a 140 watt recorder. Choose 2.8mm for a wide 111 degree yard view, or 4mm at 91 degrees to concentrate the same 4K detail on a gate or forecourt.
