What this is for
2304 x 1296 with infrared to 30 metres, at 5.5 watts over PoE. Corridor mode rotates the image from 16:9 to 9:16 for stairwells, narrow shop aisles and long hallways where a standard frame wastes most of its resolution on the walls.
Before specifying it: TP-Link publishes no weatherproof rating for this model, with the protection row listed as not applicable and the housing given as plastic. Treat it as an interior camera and use an IP67 bullet or dome for exposed positions. Runs from PoE or a 12V DC supply. No speaker and no microSD slot, so it records to an NVR. Choose 2.8mm at 97.8 degrees or 4mm at 82.8 degrees.
What you also need
This item is part of a system. A working installation needs each of these.
- ✓ A PoE port on a VIGI recorder or an 802.3af/at PoE switch
- ✓ Cat6 cable, up to 100 metres per run
- ✓ A free recorder channel, with enough PoE budget left for this camera's draw
