What this is for

Full colour around the clock instead of grainy black and white, from an F1.6 aperture and a high sensitivity sensor, with two white LEDs and two infrared LEDs each reaching 30 metres on motion detection. Records 2560 x 1440 with H.265+ encoding, and a built-in speaker and microphone give two-way audio.

Read this before mounting it outside. TP-Link publishes no weatherproof rating for this camera: the protection row on their own specification and on the datasheet reads not applicable, and the housing is listed as plastic. Treat it as an interior camera, for ceilings, retail floors, reception counters and covered areas, and use an IP67 model such as the C345 or C350 for any exposed position.

Draws 8 watts over PoE. Lens angle and microSD capacity differ between hardware revisions, so confirm which version you are receiving: the 4mm lens is published at 79 degrees on one revision and 86 degrees on another.
