What this is for
2880 x 1620 in full colour with an F1.6 aperture holding colour down to 0.005 lux, two white LEDs and two infrared LEDs reaching 30 metres, and a built-in microphone and speaker for two-way audio. Human and vehicle classification keeps the alerts meaningful, and the camera can answer an intrusion itself with an audible warning and flashing white light.
Important before you specify it: TP-Link publishes no weatherproof rating for this model. The protection row in their own specification reads not applicable, and the product name omits the word outdoor that appears on their IP67 models. Treat it as an interior camera, and use the C455 turret or a C350 bullet where the position is exposed. Draws up to 10.5 watts over PoE, takes a microSD card up to 512GB, and comes in 2.8mm at 109 degrees or 4mm at 90 degrees.
What you also need
This item is part of a system. A working installation needs each of these.
- ✓ A PoE port on a VIGI recorder or an 802.3af/at PoE switch
- ✓ Cat6 cable, up to 100 metres per run
- ✓ A free recorder channel, with enough PoE budget left for this camera's draw
