What this is for
Four PoE+ ports sharing a 53 watt budget, so cameras plug straight into the back on a single cable each and are detected and powered automatically. No injectors, no separate switch, no power supplies at the camera end. Records up to 8MP per channel to a single bay taking up to 10TB, with 4K HDMI output.
The 53 watt total is the number to plan against, not the 30 watt per-port maximum: that per-port ceiling can only be used once, since two 30 watt cameras would exceed the budget. With the low-draw infrared cameras at 5.5 watts each you have ample headroom. The uplink is 10/100 Mbps, which is fine for four cameras recording locally but tight if several people view remotely at once. Playback falls below four synchronous channels above 16MP total.
