What this is for
IP67 waterproof and IK08 vandal rated, the only camera in the InSight range with a published impact rating, which makes it the one to specify where the camera itself is within reach of the public. Records 1080p and holds full colour down to 0.005 lux, with infrared and white LEDs reaching 30 metres.
Human and vehicle classification distinguishes people and vehicles from other moving objects for more accurate notifications, alongside line crossing, area intrusion and region entry and exit detection. Two things to know before specifying it: this model has a microphone but no speaker, so it cannot issue an audible warning, and TP-Link publishes no microSD slot for it, so it records to an NVR rather than to the camera. Draws 8 watts over PoE. Choose 2.8mm at 98.8 degrees or 4mm at 75.2 degrees.
Compatibility
Works with VIGI NVRs, VIGI Cloud VMS and standard PoE switches. Needs 802.3af PoE from the NVR or a separate switch.
