What this is for
An off-grid power station for cameras on sites with no mains supply: a 60 watt solar panel charging a 31.2Ah lithium battery, with three DC outputs and an RJ45 pass-through, rated IP66 for outdoor mounting.
The runtime figure needs reading carefully, because it depends entirely on the load. TP-Link publish 7.3 days of operation through consecutive rainy days when it is powering a 4G camera, and 2.3 days when it is powering a wireless bridge plus a bullet camera. Both are calculated on 3.72 hours of average daily sunshine, which is a New York figure. Nairobi does considerably better than that, but what you connect is what decides whether you get seven days or two.
Outputs run 9 to 12.6 volts at 2 amps, which suits the 12V DC cameras in the range such as the C540-4G and the S345-4G. It cannot power an 802.3at PoE camera like the C540 directly. Send us your camera list and we will size it properly.
