What this is for
Everything a controlled door needs apart from the reader, quoted per door. A reader or terminal decides who may open a door. This set is what actually holds it shut, releases it safely and keeps it working through a power cut.
We specify every set to the same standard rather than to a brand, and confirm the exact models on your quote. The lock is fail-safe, so the door releases on power loss or a fire alarm signal, and the emergency break glass cuts power to the lock directly rather than through the controller, so the door still opens if the controller fails.
Pair it with a Suprema terminal and a Secure I/O 2 module for a single door, so the lock relay sits on the secure side rather than inside the terminal outside the door, or with an ICT tSec reader on a Protege controller where several doors are managed together.
