What this is for
Infrared reaching 50 metres, longer than most cameras in this class, which is the reason to choose it for a long perimeter wall, a driveway approach or a fence line where the subject appears well beyond the range of a standard 30 metre camera. Records 2304 x 1296 from a 1/2.8 inch sensor, and analytics separate people and vehicles from the moving vegetation that generates most false alerts.
IP67 rated and drawing only 5.5 watts over PoE, so sixteen of them sit inside a 90 watt recorder budget. Worth knowing: this model has a microphone but no speaker, and no microSD slot, so it records to an NVR rather than to the camera. Three lenses: 2.8mm at 97.8 degrees for wide cover, 4mm at 82.8 degrees, or 6mm at 54.5 degrees to concentrate that 50 metre reach on a narrow approach.
