What this is for
Four white LEDs and four infrared LEDs, double what most turrets in this class carry, each reaching 30 metres. Combined with an F1.6 aperture that holds colour to 0.005 lux, the picture stays usable right across the frame at night instead of falling away at the edges. A built-in microphone and speaker give you two-way audio, so you can speak to whoever is standing there.
Records 2688 x 1520 and is IP67 rated, so it mounts under eaves and on exterior walls as readily as an indoor ceiling, and takes a microSD card up to 512GB. Note the 12 watt PoE draw, which is high for a turret: eleven of these consume a 140 watt recorder budget, so a sixteen camera site on this model needs a separate PoE switch. Choose 2.8mm for 100 degrees or 4mm for 80 degrees.
What you also need
This item is part of a system. A working installation needs each of these.
- ✓ A PoE port on a VIGI recorder or an 802.3af/at PoE switch
- ✓ Cat6 cable, up to 100 metres per run
- ✓ A free recorder channel, with enough PoE budget left for this camera's draw
